Revolutions develop the high qualities of the good and the great, but they cannot change the nature of the vicious and selfish.

Welcome to Armory of the South

Warning: We will not assist in any way in the transfer of ANY NFA firearm, including SBR's that have any "stabilizing brace" system that falls within the ATF Final Rule relating to same.

The Armory of the South is preparing to offer to the Cowboy Action community ammunition containing traditional loads of black powder. In anticipation of that, we are hereby announcing our policy relating to those sales.

As most shooters are well aware, many federal, state and municipal laws regulate the sale of ammunition; this is especially true with respect to black powder ammunition. We strive hard to comply with ALL local, state and federal laws, and will NOT consider requests to ignore, bypass or otherwise compromise ANY of those laws.

The following list of state and local laws is not represented to be inclusive of the many laws regarding the purchase of ammunition in all 50 states. You, yourself, must constantly be aware of any laws affecting your ability to purchase ammunition. Always remember that laws regarding the purchase of ammunition are subject to frequent change, and court interpretation may significantly impact the effects of those laws.

Note, in particular, that this summary is NOT intended as legal advice or restatement of law, rather as a general guideline to be followed.

For more information on the sale of firearms and ammunition in your state visit the ATF here.
